I have been watching prices and you can get a very lightly used 14-15 with the electronic suspension for around 10k.
What about the FJR1300, saddle bags are removeable. 2013+ has electronic cruise. 2014+ Optional Electronic Suspension, 2016+ Optional LED adaptive lighting and 6spd.
6.0 is a far less complex and more reliable engine. The EcoTec3 has “some” issues.
