That would pretty much defeat the whole point of the Switch. The Switch is popular because you can take it home or on the go. If it were just a home console or portable, people would stick with their Playstation or 3DS

I have an extra pair of Joycons. One thing nice about recent nintendo accessories is that they’re very good at holding a charge on standby. I checked my DSiXL which hadn’t been charged in like two years and it had like 80% battery life.

I don’t think there are any buttons you could do that with. You wouldn’t want to lose any other function such as running or jumping etc. just because there’s a weapon near your feet.

Fully agree about the weapon swap. I could only see it being handy when opening chests. Constant prompts when spamming A to pick all the loot up off the floor though? No.
