Seems to me Final Fantasy is in the best place it’s been since PS2 era. 14 very strong and 15 looking great so you seem a little off base.

I think that’s a bit overstated. They already made a game - a Batman side scroller - and it was pretty unexceptional.

If that first pic is the worst thing you’ve seen, I’m not sure I get what the issue is. I’m 30 and I do get the connotation, but for a 8 or 12 year old - probably not so much.

They did just announce they’re translating a 4 year old mecha game so anything’s possible. Although we are getting kinda close to 3ds successor.

2016 is really disappointing for Second. That will make a record low 2 JRPGs published by NOA in 5 years.

We did, but it took 18 months for it to be localized. And this is a winter release in Japan.

This seems like more of an “Ultimate” entry to me - a compendium of all the past games. I think we get this early 2016 with 5 being the next title in the series.
