I’m not sure how “weird” this is. Doesn’t the publisher pay to have their demo hosted? Is it a sound investment for a publisher to keep promoting a non-existant product?

DS was a really great era for these. Wonder why it fell off so sharply with the 3DS.

It’s by no means “perfect, flawless” If you leave your system closed and off charge for more than 1-2 days you could find it completely powered off and “save state” gone.

I’d be willing to bet they’re not just showing the style, but the actual art assets are on display here. If this were purely cinematic they surely would have cleaned up the textures (in the nest for example).

There probably hasn’t been a more generous game put out in the last 10 years than 4U.

It’s not like Final Fantasy insofar as the entire atmosphere and tone is much more lighthearted in Monster Hunter - so it makes more sense here.
