That's not the only difference, ya dope! Call of Duty games can be beaten in 2 days, and there's never a point in them where the momentum stops, or any question of what to do next. So it's not surprising that more people finish them.

I think they're very intentionally marketing this as a return to "fun" GTA, but that's just what we're seeing in the few minutes of footage pre-release. Houser bro's are artists though, and they won't be content with going backwards (narrative and character wise) so I'm sure there will be a complexity to this that…
Don't think you've held it. It's no more a device for kids than the original 3DS that sold for 1.5 years before the XL. And the original was, for me, rather painful, especially using the D-pad. I can't imagine this not being a big improvement.
Not sure why this keeps coming up - but there is a sleep switch so the functionality is there.
I honestly can't remember the last time I've regretted a game purchase as much as I've regretted Dream Team. Even for kids (which I believe is the target audience) there's typically a much more engrossing story line and group of characters in just about any 10 minute episode of Adventure Time than there is in 40…
Well, you've missed out on some truly fantastic games, but those aren't bad at all.
so you could play 3DS games for the last ~32 months?
It's really weird to me that there is almost no acknowledgement that the Wii U was this price last year. I can't see people being that overwhelmed with Nintendoland this year, when it wasn't a terribly exciting prospect last year. It does seem like everyone is putting a lot of stock in the bigger storage, but…
Was 6 months of waiting really worth it you for a free copy of nintendoland? Not to burst your bubble but you can get a copy of that game for ~$10 new.
that is extremely unlikely. If anything they'll offer a 64GB version in ~2yrs.
Bad news also for anyone who doesn't own a japanese 3DS: the last one took 18 months to translate!
Now it just needs a redesign.
Humidifier 1, Paper Jack 0
I'm about 6 hours in and I have to say that while I'm not that bothered by the tutorials, the game just isn't doing much for me. It's not just small things that needed polishing - the scenario, pacing, writing, characters, and especially the dream world (all swirly shapes and colors - generally with a goal of moving…
it's got poo brain.
Maybe Metal Gear Solid demo and Final Fantasy 8 demo. Still, this is the biggest non-issue I can imagine reporting on.
eh, I would just jump on it when it's on sale. It was $40 off a few weeks ago at best buy, and earlier in the year the same at Target.
I dunno... I keep hearing that this has been such an insane year for the 3DS, and while that seems to be true in Japan, I haven't seen that much enticing stuff here. I get one game every 3 months or so (this year it's been Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, and Animal Crossing). Maybe next year it's going to be great…
I love rpgs too, but I have been in no way overwhelmed with the 3ds library. As far as this year goes, there's SMT IV - which I'm trying to warm up to but I have a feeling it's not really for me. Fire Emblem was cool but not an RPG. I've been waiting and waiting for Bravely Default, but that still won't be out this…
another vote for the XL. Much more comfortable.
