Link between worlds is probably done. It's out this fall, not 2014.

So much of the excitement from a new Nintendo console comes from seeing that new take on Mario, Zelda, Metroid. They're not even suggesting that they're doing that this time. Pikmin 3 does look great, but it certainly doesn't look like a reinvention. Other than that, we are getting some sequels to some of the least

It is pretty relentless without. And it is the best game of this gen with!

In what scenario is it preferable to be forced to update a game at the moment you want to play it? Wouldn't it be preferable for the update to happen at any other time?

3ds version is fabulous. Helps alot if you have friends who also play.

The environment looks quite dated, but everything else looks good!

the only really good game in the series is 3, inarguably.

I'm not so concerned about the graphics (which so for look to me, inarguably look worse than the original). I'm more worried about the actual game. The DS one was a complete bore, and although what they've shown looks closer to the original, it is the same developer as the DS version.

Was that really their mission statement? Either way it was dreadful, and the only double fine game I haven't finished.

I think you need to re-evaluate what a coincidence, is.

Whelp.. preorder cancelled I guess. It's been a long wait for a good rpg on 3ds (especially considering the DS's great rpg library). Guess I'll be waiting another year until they finish translating bravely default.

It's a bit of a conflation of terms to say that a game's (technical or artistic ambition) amounts to the amount of time it takes to "beat" it. I'm not interested in addressing the validity of metacitic scores (usually not a great measure of ambition either).

Since not much has been revealed about the development, you may be right.

To be fair this looks about 3 times more ambitious than naughty dog games this gen. They have all been cover shooters, after all (comment does not apply to LoU which I haven't played yet).

I've always paid $35 a year for gold so that's about $3 a month (which seems pretty fair for the robustness of the service).

If you don't have to put it in then what keeps you from installing then selling the game?

But it's still on Microsoft to show consumers what those benefits would be.

Really surprised at the froth-mouthedness of... well.. every comment here. What's $100 on an investment for the next 6-7 years (if the last console generation is anything to go by). If you can afford $400, can you really not afford $500?

that's cool. good luck w/ poketown!

so... perfect!
