I almost bought that with my $50 Sephora giftcard but opted instead for ABH Dipbrow and brush (but my order got screwed). I have those broken capillaries on my nose and hormonal cystic acne/acne scars. I’ve been on the hunt for a good concealer and that sounds awesome but I guess I’m going to settle for grabbing Hard

Please share! I’ve been meaning to invest in a good facial sunscreen. I feel so naughty for using skin acids and just covering up in my olay lotion with spf 15.

The only thing I wondered about was the applicator. Like if it comes out in a big gloop (flashback to benefit pushup liner :O) and my inexperience with gel liners. I guess if I had any issues I could use the back of my hand as a palette. Thanks for the assurance! Too good of a deal to pass up.

My favorite eye shadow palette is Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance. Neutrals/Reds/Oranges/Pinks with mostly mattes and a few shimmers that are smooth, pigmented and blendable. I even think the blending brush included is decent enough for daily use if you don’t have a different one.

I’ll be reading and make sure to like and everything. Good luck!

Thank you for the validation! I think at this point I’m just being indignant because of the rest of my screwed up Sephora order/lack of customer service but what better way to say F it & 2016 by putting on my fabulous luxury lipstick!

Birchbox can be verrry hit or miss, but I have skincare preferences in my profile and I often get some excellent skincare products. Makeup, not so much usually. Sometimes I live off of the skincare samples because they send some of the best cleaners, scrubs, masks, and creams that I’ve tried. If you like the skincare

I think you convinced me! They have a limited edition set that’s the tartiest clay paint liner minis in black and brown with the brush for $12. I think if I’m going to try something new, it’s too good of a deal to pass up and I don’t have anything like it. After that, I might have to cut myself off haha.

I am always interested to learn more so I’m sure it will be helpful. I especially like hearing from real people instead of corporate youtubers so I am excited to check it out. I would’ve never started writing myself if I wasn’t asked by someone (I have no confidence in my abilities lol) so I am writing for someone

That’s good to know! I have definitely had the same issue and am barely surviving off of the Blistex medicated lip ointment my mom gave me. I just got a Fresh birthday gift set from Sephora (cleanser +mask) so I’m excited to try the brand. Congrats and good luck to you and your husband!

Followed!

I would love to see your blog! I just started writing myself and would love to compare notes and whatnot. Skincare (especially affordable skincare) feels a little more guilt-free to me than buying more eye shadow palettes that aren’t necessary.

I’ve always wanted to try LUSH! I guess I get a little overwhelmed from all of the options but I love hearing first hand reviews of people’s fave items. Any star players of the brand for you?

That sounds lovely! Please keep me updated on your experience with brands like Nars because I haven’t had the pleasure in trying their products yet.

Benefit has great brow products! When starting my collection I got a face set (concealers, foundation, primer, powder). They have excellent concealer and the BEST primer. And a brow set (pencil, spoolie, angled brush, powders, wax, stencils, and a brow highlight/touch up concealer). That’s what I first started doing

Any word on xovain?

BEAUTY THREAD:

Lawsuit wise, yes probably peak stupid. Skincare wise, no, stuff like St. Ive’s is technically not good. But we all use things that are probably “not good” whether it be products that contain alcohol, sulfates, fragrances, etc. So people should just use whatever works for them.

This is seriously fantastic news. I have been on birth control pills in the past and already know what kind of medication to get but don’t have a prescription. It’s unfortunately expensive for a lot of people but there should be much more access for contraceptives for women. People don’t always make it to the doctor

Calling this guy a “degenerate” isn’t all that bad. It’s not like you’re advocating he be burnt at the stake. Also, just because some people might be biologically attracted to children or the children look/seem more mature doesn’t change the fact that they still have the minds of children. Maybe the occasional young
