*internet hugs* you have every right to decide on what toxicity you allow into your life. Nobody else gets to decide your need/want/readiness to forgive, or even assume that forgiveness is on the table.
Don’t worry, we blacks and Latinos are about to come in and save liberal white America from itself very soon.
I got an account just to give you a star.
YAAAS. I was JUST saying this.
I’m definitely Feeling The Bern but you make a lot of edifying points.
This is the rant that I've been ranting all day long.
Honest question, are there usually primary debates in Brooklyn? It just seems so sketchy on Sanders’s part to demand a debate in his hometown. Unless it’s like a traditional thing.
Eh, those “proposals” seem an awful lot like demands, and she hasn’t said no, she just hasn’t said yes yet.
It very much comes across like he’s changing the deal and then pouting when Hillary says, “That’s not the deal we made.”
I’m #TeamHillary here. You said you wanted more debates, everyone agreed to add more debates, and now you want to change the deal? Tough cookies. You should’ve spoken up before.
And for most of existence, women haven’t had the privilege of not showing up. No matter how sick or busy, they couldn’t stop mothering. Women have been working around the clock, rain or snow or plague or shine, for millenia.
Honestly, I think it’s because as a female you are worried you’ll be judged if you don’t show up. Dudes just take for granted that they can stay home when they are sick, their kid is sick, or it’s dangerous to travel.
Of course Whoopi “was it rape rape?” Goldberg is the one who says the Academy is not racist because she won an Oscar.
10/10 would watch
This outrage would make a bigger (and better) impact if, instead of making the broad complaint that black actors weren’t nominated, the arguments were made for individual actors who were beaten out by mediocre white actors.
Matt Damon’s response is so rich. Isn’t he the guy who basically told Effie Brown on Project Greenlight that casting on screen mattered more than casting behind the scenes? Which is utter bullshit because behind the scenes is where the problem starts. He grosses me out.
