Another regurgitation of other people’s journalism? C’mon Jalopnik, what has been going on lately? It seems like you guys are doing more of this than your own reporting lately.

Wait, hang on. I just want to make sure I’m getting this.

and a couple seconds faster than a 911 GT3 RS, which is impressive for a car that costs much, much less and comes from the brand that also brings us the Trax.

That’s the entire problem - the Corvette’s precis has always been “affordable performance” and it isn’t trying to compete directly with Daimler, BMW and VAG in the interior space. GM’s E/E engineering organization is literally about one-tenth the size of Daimler’s and the majority of Corvette customers don’t want to

Then you’re likely the only contributor besides David Tracy that has that kind of experience and that begs the question of why you’re griping about this if you know what pretty pieces that don’t make the car faster will do to the price. It also doesn’t help us to know the context of your perspective when your short bio

I mean, Jalopnik did crash a Camaro and leak some stuff most other outlets had but didn’t leak, so yeah, I think it’s okay for them to have a grudge

I can’t listen to anyone make excuses for that in a halo car

I’m laughing about the big butt seats you slide around in. All anyone ever did with my model of Focus ST, is complain about the seats, which keep you securely in place. I like it.

I hate when auto critics bring up the trope about American car interiors being suckfests. Jaguar F-Type interiors are made of the same cheap

Sounds a lot like Kurt is still butt hurt he wasn’t invited to the initial press gathering. Expecting it to have the same interior as cars that cost more and can’t touch its performance......  you can’t have everything, especially on a budget. And there are plenty of  complaints with issues on those $175k slower cars.

While editing this review, I had actually forgotten the car has 755 HP. I somehow thought it was 640, but that’s the Z06. Regardless of whatever shortcomings this thing has, it’s an absolute beast.

I tip the scales at 190 pounds, and am 5-feet 11-inches. The competition seats may look sporty and be light, but they seem to be designed for heftier drivers.

For that kind of power and performance for that price, something has to give right?

Semantics. You did attempt to refute what was said, albeit with reasons both logical and illogical. Would you consider your reply to my initial post a refutation? Because...

Oh come on, let’s be brutally honest here.

At what cost? You just named it, it’s $30,000, or about the same price as a nicely equipped Camry.

What? Industries don’t usually “crush” good ideas. At worst they buy them up and try to make money selling it themselves. I don’t know what you mean by “GM and their electric car”. You mean trying an experimental vehicle that was incredibly compromised and ending said experiment after the allotted test cycle, then

lots of great ideas died or languished for years in the industry. mostly because they didn’t offer enough perceived benefit for customers to pay more for them.

A swarm of kids from the Please Touch Museum could have pushed you to safety if you got stuck any worse.

It’s a post on New Year’s Eve about some shitty Craigslist Camaro. I don’t think it’ll be in the running for a Pulitzer.

Hey all you magazine editors and website writers, here's a thought take a CRV out to a snowy hill and try it. But I guess that would be actual journalism and it would require work.
