What's your point? That there are people who are atheists, who are also misogynists? I said that already.

I don't know about you, but I sure wasn't thinking about the twin towers.
Perhaps you missed my point about how their argument was a complete generalisation and thus not valid on it's own merit. And the reason for pointing out the attempted suppression of intellectual superiority was because it was a hypocritical argument to make.
This is the first time I've ever read anything you've written and it seems like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about (combined with a failed attempt to suppress your own feelings of intellectual superiority).
..considering damn near all of our movies get shipped over there anyway
But presumably there's a reason, even if you don't know what it is, that this is a noteworthy phenomenon in Japan but not so much elsewhere. And if it's not a noteworthy phenomenon in Japan.. then why the hell did you bother writing an article about it?
Except that what you're missing out on is why these particular kind of movies are the ones that have been numerously and routinely played upon, compared to the wide range of other available genres that get made each year, which could be easy copied? Wouldn't it be particularly true that armageddon-themed movies…
That's a nice simplistic view of it but if that's the case, why don't the other big players abandon E3 too? My point is that Nintendo is making a big statement by not appearing this year, whether they realise it or not, and that's that they can't compete on the big stage. Instead, they need to try and do everything…
"This is a pretty cool announcement for regular gamers."
Whoever did the audio for this needs to take themselves outside and administer a mild beating. The mix is way off, the song doesn't suit it and it masks out the dialogue.
As I said to Ashcraft, I think your theory is entirely sound (see also: Godzilla).
Why the "um, no"? Why is Mardlney's theory not entirely possible?
No, but they should get their shit in order if they're going to criticise something which needs no criticism. Unless you're some kind of retrohipster who thinks it's cool to hate on commercially and critically successful much-loved movies?
I think my point wasn't that I was sitting in a darkened room fuming and waiting for someone to walk in and apologise, but that these guys don't deserve credit when there are people out there who do the same thing better and don't need to refer to disabilities because they're desperate for laughs.
That's okay then ;)
Is this a Wicker Man reference or just because?
CinemaSins' videos are pretty poor, and occasionally offensive (The Dark Knight Rises makes a reference to Downs Syndrome and Joseph Gordon Levitt? What, guys?). There's absolutely no need to criticise Jurassic Park, especially since they'll never in their lifetime produce anything a tenth as good.
Being unoriginal about being unoriginal? Naziception?!
Without any malice, I'm putting £10/$15 bucks down now this'll flop. There are too many questions that most people have to ask themselves before they could possibly get excited about buying one, and that price tag is going to stop them even if they get that far.
