Now this gives me melted plastic blob vibes. It looks terrible, something’s just off.

Nooo, it’s a car for people. Duh.

I know/feel where you’re coming from. I’ve been reading through all the comments and most of the personal attacks on you (calling you a white supremacist, nazi, etc) have been unprovoked and unfair. I always try to never be too reactionary in what I say. Mutual respect is the basis for everything else.

Goddamnit. You libs goin after my stars and bars again?!? THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!

lmao you two. @COMTNDRVR @skeffles You’re both on the same side of this argument. You’re also both been commenting here for quite a long time and are generally pretty active.

Well, if the pandemic’s taught us anything, it’s that people with obscene amounts of money are rarely prepared for... anything. Oh, besides fucking over the little guy, then it’s all quick and decisive. (Looking at you Robinhood and Shitadel)

Cherokee is also the name of a locality, and using a place name for a car is nothing new nor worth getting one’s panty in a twist.

“To them it is an identity, to me it is a car.”

Huh. I was referencing commercially available drones without custom mods but this is interesting. You need some hacking/programming skills to get a Mavic to exceed 1600ft. The 33,000ft one is clearly a custom-built fpv style drone.

Ahh, I think that’s it, thanks! Damn, quite the story.

Not a jet engine expert but it appears to be. The fire suppression systems have two “bottles” of Halon (I think) that are dumped into the engine to kill any fire. If one doesn’t work, they use the second. The nacelle and mount are designed to withstand the heat of an uncontained engine fire and prevent it from

Yeah. The legal limit from the FAA for recreational drones is 400ft. The service ceiling for most is around 1600ft or less. There aren’t any that could possibly make it to 10,000ft.

Reminds me of that one flight with dual engine failure hundreds of miles from land. The pilots couldn’t restart the engines and glided the plain all the way to San Francisco and landed safely.

I don’t actually drive a Tesla. Not really in the market for a car right now so I might look at a Model S down the road. The interior minimalism of the Model 3 isn’t really to my taste. Not to mention, they still have issues that need to be worked out. If Lucid Air would hurry up then I might consider at a low enough

Ahhh, I get it now. I didn’t think about that. They must get a fuck-ton of emails from angry ppl lol.

I get that. What do you mean lying about Bitcoin though? All I heard is Musk added it to his twitter bio and Tesla bought some.

How much toxicity is there really though? I hear all about Tesla stans and Elon stans but I’ve never seen any of the described worship on their subreddits besides the odd comment that rarely gets attention. Hell, the r/elonmusk sub even had that Space Karen meme as a top post for a while. Away from the 24/7 online

Now playing

Maybe so lol. I guess the loathing of Tesla is more than that of GM. Honestly, though, I’m not sure about the who/what/when/where of the whole anti-GM sentiment. This did make me laugh though:

Oh fck off. There seems to be a lag in why people think all who buy a Tesla is a raving stan:

And the simple fact that the Bolt has a Chevy badge on it. I don’t mean to throw shade at Chevy (well... kinda) but I’m not sure anyone can associate that logo with “innovation” or “sleek and sexy.”
