I think he’s stated so in the past. He’s technically the chief engineer at SpaceX but he’s stated it does no one good to think of anyone as the chief engineer of a project, it’s a generally managerial term.

Hey now, the mustang’s getting long in the tooth. C&C crowds have become wary of attacks from the side.
Yeah. I agree for the most part. It’s either the super wealthy who can afford to pay full tuition for all four years, or it’s the super poor who get all of their need met. The middle class is screwed over because who can afford 40k a year? It’s ultimately the same result.
Watching the reservations for all of Tesla’s shit run out in just a few minutes gives me the same questions as watching an auction on BaT.
lol. Besides, u know, majoring in Physics and Economics at UPenn or attending Stanford (Ik ik, he dropped out).
Not that I can see at Tesla. He does have Glen Shotwell (who’s name sounds just as fake as Elon Musk) at SpaceX. She’s actually fcking amazing.
Poor guy is stuck in the middle. He’s criticized for liking the car despite its faults and he’s criticized for explicating its faults despite its bonuses.
Finally a good critical article of Tesla without a mention of “tEsLa StAnS” lol
I feel like a stalk would be impossible with a half steering wheel, just bc of the way a lot of people hook their thumbs to hit the stalk with their fingers.
I’ll admit, this steering wheel is dumb af. But contrary to popular belief, Musk is a gear head and always has been. (take that however you will)

Not only this, but the design flaw was in the fact that the O-rings were expected to wear like they did and that the faulty field joint was an accepted part of the process.

^^ This. I want to see a Tesla but not, you know? Gimmicky in the way Tesla is but for other brands. The Mach E and bmw are going overboard on the whole “THE FUTURE IS HERE” theme* and it makes them unappealing as simple consumer items. Tesla “markets” its vehicles as EVs and nothing else. The Nissan Leaf is the best…
I guess they’ll sell credits until they can make profit with just EV manufacture/sale or until the competition is electrified, whichever comes first. They’re betting against everyone catching up before they can become profitable with just the EVs. The money from credits helps make that possible.
It’s a direct analogy to turbocharging, a positive feedback loop. More compression >>+hp >> greater compression etc.. The credits, like the turbo, aren’t the main source of power, but they do account for a lot of hp.
For the average consumer who only cares about getting from A to B, this will be a non-issue. But for us gear-heads... Well, hopefully they’ll keep a couple gas-stations around for us :)
Yup, we have enough pumps. It seems like a futile attempt to stop the upcoming green era. Granted, said green era might be a good ways off, but its arrival appears to be inevitable.
You’d have to tie your six-pack to the rear wing haha
Yeah, not to mention the cost of that mechanic, fuel, and tires lol.
