Might explain some of the hype, but not the success.

Reliability and quality? Yes. But no-one beats Tesla in terms of safety. They’ve literally got the safest cars on the road by almost all testing metrics.
Actually a pretty good description. F1 should get more interesting too with their rule and chassis changes, which will allow drivers to draft through corners and be more daring with their moves.
Nah. They’ve been grasping at straws with the single track course (not oval). Now that they’ve realized all the straws they previously had were short, they’ve decided to try something new.
Thank you for the benefit of the doubt. I wasn’t paying attention haha so pls excuse my comment. :)
Ah, I see. I stand corrected. I did not understand the reference. The wording confused me and I thought the comment referenced human faces directly, not uncanny valley. Ignore my previous comment.
Also keep in mind that the reason why the prices for everything are rock-bottom is because the government subsidizes the shit out of domestic Chinese companies.
I would agree with your comment on the proportions being off, if it wasn’t for this little part:
Surprisingly, me too.
Exactly
Yeah, I kind of gathered as much. Jalop doesn’t really make it clear whether it’s a licensed brand version or not though and regardless, my point still stands.
This reminded me of something I saw this morning:
Politics in general is just one big, pointless circle of whataboutism.
That’s literally the business culture in China. Almost every domestic property is propped up by the government. Every foreign company (of course you’d assume it’s just abt America) that wants to manufacture or produce something in China has to share the patent with whatever domestic Chinese company they’re partnering…
No shit. (/s)
Why does Jalop get all excited about stuff like this. It’s copyright/intellectual property theft and it’s fcking obvious. Normalizing shit like this does harm.
That’s an apples to oranges comparison. Japan in the 1980s was never about expansionism in the way China is now. I’m talking USSR in its heyday, not Japan in during a bubble. I would check out some of the Atlantic’s articles on China, they do a really good job of showing just why we should be concerned. There was a…
Why’d you have to do that? Now I’m just yearning for something I know will never happen...
Yeah. Interestingly enough, Daniel Ricciardo beat out a lot of other well-known drivers to be in the FIA’s top 20 fastest drivers of all time. (16th)
Idk why I’m responding now but...
