I can understand where you are coming from. Although I can't really blame society for spoiling a fifty year old movie. And I've never really experienced this feeling with movies that I came to steeped in their story. A few examples would be Psycho, Casablanca, Rear Window, Citizen Kane, and, to a lesser extent, The

Very much so. They are hand in glove Putin puppets. While I was initially glad to see the domestic spying programs revealed, it turned out that Snowden revealed numerous legitimate spying operations and damaged our country drastically and put many lives in danger. Since then he has routinely attacked Obama and the

Really well put.

Considering how badly they've done with a secret agent show, I can only imagine how awful something requiring more superpowers is going to be. But I'll only be able to imagine it, because I won't be watching it now that this image has blinded me.

MY EYES! MY EYES! OMG—-MY EYES!

It's so hard to buy into Poitras needing the world to figure out for her what scum Assange and Snowden are after having such unfettered access to both for such a long period. And not picking up on then being tools of Russia until after everyone else did doesn't speak well of her journalistic chops. That she's sleeping

I know the feeling of watching a favorite movie so many times that it starts to lose its power. I got there with faves like Big Trouble in Little China and Brazil, thus necessitating putting them on the shelf for a long time before only taking them out on special occasions. But I've never had a movie destroyed by pop

Is that why Jor El kept looking inside his caftan?

No word on Metaphor's feelings about this bullshit?

Hannity's power is pretty slim. If there is one thing the GOP scum Fox caters to has proven, they follow the hate, not the hater. They are more than happy to jump from one piece of shit to another, so long as the demonizing of brown people and teh gays continues.

Nothing makes it into a Doctor Who show without Moffat's okay. They whole episode was dripping in progressive issues, from climate change to race to income inequality. That doesn't happen without Moffat involved from conception straight through to the final edit.

Yup. I don't expect anyone to agree with me. Those were just my faves. Six was great, too, but it just had a few real clunkers for me. But still a great season. But 1-5 are my favorites, with no particular season being my absolute favorite.

Yes. For the most part the writing is the only thing that separates these doctors from another. And also for the most part, seasons 1-5 were stellar, while ever since it's been up and down pretty wildly. Still lots of stellar, but mixed in with a lot more dross.

Love that they dropped a line about a whitewashed Jesus. Good on ya, Moffat.

If you tied me down and covered me in ants, I'd likely name Tennant as my favorite. But really I think all four modern Doctors have been equally excellent. They've all placed an indelible stamp on him during their time in the TARDIS.

Just trying to do good works.

Where's the one about Bart being recruited to an underground sex club in a pizzeria?

I think he's going to be great as Glenn Close in that biopic. But I've got no proof.

DeLorean was actually acquitted when it was learned that the suitcase of what was supposed to be cocaine only contained used pinball machine parts.
