I thought the finale was the worst episode of the season, otherwise I'd do a recap myself. But I don't want the aggravation.
The lack of blood is the big one. It's especially weird when you see it in a live action movie. Although props to the first X-Men movie addressing part of that immediately, by having Rogue ask him if it hurts, to which he answers, "Every time."
