I’m not going to list out examples. I generally tip 20% but sometimes I get bad service and I adjust the tip accordingly. Are you suggesting that there’s nothing a server could do to get less than 20% from you?

Oh geez. Way to get all worked up over nothing. A few people have misunderstood my use of the phrase “no matter what”. I meant “not automatically”. As in, “I won’t automatically tip 20%; quality of service can and will affect the tip amount.”
