Did you take into account gross vs net horsepower?

In a fuel injected car the injectors stop cycling when there is no load, completely cutting off fuel to the engine and letting the engine run as an air pump.

That’s a bit of an apples and oranges comparison.  Private day cares cannot raise rates to pay their workers more, because their customers cannot afford to pay more.  This would be the case even if the work force were unionized.

I very much doubt someone paid $18K for this to drive it.  If you’re looking to save money by saving gas, you would be WAY better off buying a used hybrid.  This is a collector car.

I don’t know what’s available commercially, but fuel cells don’t have to run on hydrogen. It would be simple to have a canister of methanol or ethanol on hand to refuel a generator.  And the fact that this needs to be plugged in to recharge means it’s only suitable for things like camping or powering tools, not…
