Based on the compressor the physicist mentioned, if it’s operating at 100% efficiency (which it’s not so it will be somewhat less than this) that would be 27 million newton meters.

What’s funny is the people spending that money are the same ones who are in good enough shape to handle a heavier bike.

Thing is with such a small car as this EV, the chances are that it would be used on lower speed roads, not freeways.

The difference is on a motorcycle it’s obvious there’s nothing protecting you. People ride motorcycles thinking they will never crash, but they don’t ride thinking that the motorcycle will protect them if they do. In a car, people will generally assume it’s safe because they’re surrounded by metal. It is certainly not

Well, it got a lot of people to comment, so I guess mission accomplished.

She probably got home between midnight and 8 am a lot though.

60,000 feet certainly would be interesting at least once.  I’m just thinking the speed might not be apparent from that altitude.

Besides London (Dublin, Lisbon, Amsterdam) to New York or other US east coast cities, there’s anything from the US west coast to any number of cities across the Pacific - Beijing(ish),

Now, cutting out 3 hours of flying time is still an improvement, but I’d argue that it’s being cut from the best part of the travel process.

It was the first airplane that could fly supersonic speeds without them.

Yeah, I’d be in an ergonomically poor position, face glued to the window at all times, regardless of the seat.

I’m guessing you are basing that assessment on pre-2020 prices.  Did you go look at current listings for NAs?  There aren’t many, and the ones I found are all at or above this price.

I had a classmate in elementary school who thought a particular car with a digital speedo could do 188 mph.
