I learned in a jeep CJ5 with the 4.2. I think everyone should learn the basics in a jeep. So much torque which makes it super simple to learn clutch peddle without using all the much throttle. Almost impossible to stall out. I aught my wife to drive a stick in the same jeep I learned in. It took only about a hour to

Holly shit yes, that my friend is my dream car!! But my wife wont let me buy a wagon : (

You know it will be different between the manual and the automatic. I am an avid wheeler and I can say I am almost between 500rpms to maybe 1000rpms when I am crawling. Granted I have a 1991 Cherokee with a 4.0 and a manual. If for say I was in an automatic sure my RPMS will be due to the torque converter. So I can

BUAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

The 165hp out of my 1991 jeep 4.0 seems to good enough for me. Was able to drift my jeep with 33's on an on-ramp (in the rain of course with a full spool in the rear) and it was a blast.

WHY!!! just why!

I myself have a 1991 XJ 4.0 with the AX15 trans, the only difference is mine is a 2 door. But that’s way to much for that XJ, I'd say a price closer to 5k would be better suited. 10k on a XJ!!! no thanks.

COTD!!! that’s funny right there.

BUHAHAHAHA

If anything is slightly rusted use PB Blaster!! works wonders. Also ALWAYS bench bleed your clutch master cylinder before installing.

Holly hell, couldn't stop laughing at this.

I went through the same process with my wife. She was just wanting to go down to the dealership pick out a car and drive away. I spent 3 days going over numbers on what our budget could handle. 1. being what I would like our payment to be 2. what our max was for our budget. Granted the car we bought was closer to our

COTD!!!! Its funny because I am Polish.

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed. And who ever said its FAKE wealth, you are purchasing a used luxury car to enjoy. So if I were to purchase an older Lexus ISF because its something I can afford it automatically makes me look like its “FAKE” wealth. What is the difference, grow up and pull your panties

You know that’s not bad, I have only owned my 91xj for about 6 months and I have put close that in it just in broken parts. But the amount of smiles I get out of it by far out weighs the cost.

Damn, that is one good looking car. One day I'll drive one. But if you ever come to Northern California hit me up. I'll put you behind the wheel of my 1991 XJ and you can experience some true awful driving!

That is the Rubicon, they wouldn’t use Fordyce for an episode because it doesn’t have the history behind it like the Rubicon does. I’ll be there in 2 weeks, ill take a picture of that same spot for you guys and post it.

Came here for this, now I can leave happy.

NP, but if you wanted to daily that guy I would swap out the motor with a fresh 350. From what I have heard those 345's are good at warping heads. I would just swap it out and keep the motor in storage for resale value down the road. But if its a weekend warrior leave it as is. It's a pretty cool truck.

I had a 2005 Suzuki Forenza, loved that like eco shit box. But it would stall soon as it got to operating temperature at an idle. Couldn’t figure it out for the longest time. Did a full tune up, I’m talking everything from spark plugs to ignition components. Turns out there is a very small bypass hole in the intake
