The “drug safety” canard is always the fallback excuse for Big Pharma sellouts. Truth is, Canada is a first world country and the drugs available there are virtually identical to ours.

As you rightly point out, the real explanation for those 13 votes = follow the money.

And we’re off....

I know what you are trying to say, but “Cal” is in Berkeley. The team in Los Angeles is UCLA. No one has ever — ever— called UCLA “Cal.”

Edit: I see from that article you’ve linked tothat you are indeed talking about Cal Berkeley. That’s NoCal bro. Not even close and not a part of the LA football market in any way

Quite right. Oaks Christian v. Long Beach Poly would outsell the Chargers, hands down. Mater Dei v. Servite could sell out that stadium in Carson.

Cal? Wrong.

I met Ernie Harwell (and Al Kaline) in an elevator in Vegas once. It was the year after the Loma Prieta earthquake and the A’s were playing their early season games in Vegas while their stadium got checked out/fixed up. We were out there for a buddy’s bachelor party and decided to go see the A’s play the Tigers.

We’ll always have Berman to thank for “Vincent ‘Ultimate’ Brisby.”

So true. And the Rams’ presence absolutely ruined the network TV viewing experience. I’m in Central-Cal and whereas we used to get the Niners and or the Raiders and at least one, sometimes two, big-time matchups every week, this year it was Niners, Raiders AND Rams almost exclusively.

A couple of weeks ago FOX was

Four seconds into the game and Atlanta has 1st-and-goal. LOL.

C’mon Man! The real issue in that photo is...WHUT?!?

Plus he double-dribbled at the top of the key in the second clip.

I love my state! The day after the election I went out and got a CA Republic flag and flag sticker. Slapped the sticker on my rig and fly the flag every day. Never prouder of my state than I am right fucking now!

We WILL save America from itself.

Even better is his clear misunderstanding of the concept of progressive tax rates.

I’ll do you one better.

It was Kentucky. They changed the name to KYnect and people signed up in droves, more than 400,000 of them. Then they voted in a Republican governor who campaigned on a promise to get rid of Obamacare! #derp

“Yore” LOL.

Yes, the morons do not know: ACA = Obamacare. Kentucky is a great example of that.

Not to argue to strong a point, but CA went solidly for HRC and I believe we have the most people on the ACA (here it’s called Covered CA).

This. They’ve been so bad for so long, and the owner is such a douche, that we ‘Skins fans expect this sort of thing. In fact, I welcome it so long as Snyder’s at the helm.
