I just found my Homeworld 2 disc the other day. I'm going to give it a whirl and see how time has treated it. I really dug the way that campaign missions built on the previous one, you'd have all the veteran units and armada that were built up from the mission prior. Something I haven't seen a lot of RTS games do.

While that is true, it is based on the internal clock of the console to determine how many hours a player has been inactive as opposed to some of the more ambitious goals set for persistent worlds in the next-gen.

And with the rise of "living worlds" will come a need for persistent online connections, something Gerighty believes will become the technological hallmark of the upcoming generation of consoles.

I noticed that too. Just vanilla Skyrim textures placed in new patterns with the same scripting patterns, which does not make it on par with paid DLC that has new textures/enemies/items. But hey, more hours to sink in for free so I'm not complaining.

Not being shoehorned into the light path is what made me love this game (and the sequel) so much. I usually end up somewhere in the middle of light and dark but having story options that allowed me to go either way made me feel like I was in the universe.

Same here. I'll use my 360 again when GTA V rolls out but it hasn't seen much love lately.

Podcasts grant a kind of intimate knowledge of how someone thinks, I'd listen to the cast in the car for long trips or when I had a break at work - just me listening. I'm going to miss that.

The Brako boss fight had me laughing at the sheer absurdity of the situation. This game gets a lot of flak (most of it deserved) but damn did it allow me to have a fun time.

They fixed the AI. In the closed beta the easy AI would really come out and hit you in the mouth, but in the current open iteration it is actually easy if you select that difficulty and scales up from that.

Well, I'm a little disappointed it will be missing the June window but I was wondering how to split time between Company of Heroes 2 and this. Guess that isn't a problem anymore!

Thank you for compiling some positive or non-negative viewpoints on the Xbox One. It's hard to find such things when the more popular move would be to do the opposite.

For once, I do agree with Molyneux. It was kind of amusing to see the jabs while never mentioning the other product, but the advertising surrounding both is kind of tired to me.

Seeing as to how the 360 reputation system was laughably ineffective I don't really have much hope for this. The fact that they are switching to this system means they are trying to fix the problem though.
