Zaeed being this far to the side is a goddamn shame.

For real man. It establishes a choice you made in the last game and draws you into this new game at the same time. That piano line when Shepard is being spaced still gives me chills.

Looks like he had a hand in the DLC + Extended Cut endings. I liked how the DLCs added the transitional scenes for when you were going to different locations and apparently this is the guy to thank.

I agree. Seeing the impact in Mass Effect 2 solidified the worth of Mass Effect 1. Gameplay was always an issue, the neverending glut of identical equipment that was thrown your way in ME1 always annoyed me but they went to far in correcting it in ME2. They finally got it right in 3 (imo).

Feros and Noveria were brutal, you have to waste time running around the maps for the quests. I powered through all three a few months ago and those were still the worst parts even after I had experienced all three games.

One last parting shot before you left huh? I'm glad the author finds something he truly likes doing but the condescension is palpable in his "post".

They must really be hampered by the Microsoft policy on releasing patches. Can't issue a ton of minor hotfixes due to restrictions, not good for an MMO.

38 Studios needed a pretty outrageous number of sales to get where they needed to be regarding profitability. Unfortunately they gambled with a new IP and the sales underwhelmed and that is when the dominoes starting falling.

EA has only succeeded in driving away the vocal minority, at least that is what the sales indicate. But that vocal minority resides primarily on the internet so it seems to be a much larger group.

I wonder if it was one of the older 360 models because the power brick on those consoles were humongous. One could easily bludgeon someone with that.

Microsoft is thrilled to hear that you will choose between their products like this. For real though, I feel you on this.

Oiiii, I'm Sinamoiii. Here are some fetch quests.

I am certainly looking forward to Witcher 3. Having played Witcher 1 and seeing some small changes in the narrative of 2 I think I'll fire up a new playthrough and try to set up an interesting scenario for when 3 releases.

I got in the final beta test and was surprised to see the lack of polish and general buggy gameplay for a game two weeks away from release. Maybe fans of the show will dig it, but it was definitely a pass for me because the gameplay was bad.

It would make sense for costs to go down with a fixed specification machine like consoles, but I suppose sinking these bloated budgets on a plateaued audience will roll on.

There is something mystical about derelict star ships, I'm kind of excited to be able to explore them in this game.

It baffles me that so many copies of a game (Tomb Raider) have to be sold to reach profitability. One would think that this late in the generation cycle the tools would be fairly straightforward and wouldn't have such price-tags attached to them.

My only gripe with Civ V are the interactions with the AI. They are loathe to make a fair deal and demand extreme concessions unless they are totally outgunned.

I think all of the theories are rubbish, but it does allow me to see how much people care about the Mass Effect universe.
