Mexican cuisine is now a primary cuisine in America and avocados are an integral part of the cuisine. Demand goes up, so do prices. If Balkan cuisine suddenly became the third most popular cuisine, prices on red bell peppers would go through the roof.

Avocados are WAY overpriced. How this once cheap and plentiful edible became somehow exotic haute cuisine is stunning.

I’ve got an avocado tree outside in a big pot but it’s only about three feet tall.
