It’s pretty ridiculous that EA launches Battlefield games in this state, even with all the feedback from open beta and closed testing. I’m a huge BF fan, but I didn’t buy BF5 or BF2042 at launch. I think AAA budget games should be held to a higher standard.
The easy answer is: they didn’t have time to do all that. They had to put out a product on a specific date so they can make the most money, and i guarantee you that the backlash was pretty much expected.
Because we’ve normalized the idea of the “redemption tour” in which publishers can put out half-finished games,…
And why don’t any of these people hold a torch for Can’t Stop The Music?
and gigantic plot holes becoming impossible chasms with the stuff from the new movies and shows keep stapling onto the rotting corpse of the skywalker legacy.
Punisher: War Zone. Ray Stevenson is by far the best on screen Punisher. I will fight anyone that says otherwise. It is a pure comic movie. It adapts all of the violence and nonsense of the Garth Ennis Punisher Max run and has no shame about it what so ever. I’m almost sad there wasn’t a scene of him punching a…
Excuse me, they were actually Naval aviators.
I watched the original It (which I guess was actually a TV miniseries or something) for the first time when I was in college and it is absolutely terrible. Like laughably bad. I love Tim Curry as much as the next guy but it is not the least bit scary and yet people my age who saw it as children always seemed…
I feel like I am going to get roasted for this... but.. the original Star Wars movies. Now I LOVE them (as does most of the world)... but when you take a step back.. the acting is stilted and the pacing is slow (especially a New Hope). It was difficult to get my wife to care about them with her never having seen them…
I’m a bit over 40 and care deeply about the first two world wars since they were the main drivers that shaped how the world looks today. Then again, a lot of people my age and younger got a HORRIBLE history education and so they don’t appreciate the profound effect of the wars in the past ~100 years and were actually…
I don’t think they care, but in some way I don’t blame them for that. I don’t think that anyone below 20-25 really care about 9-11 because they didn’t live it.
We (people in the 30+ range) saw everything that happened live. We experienced the dread an the horror of that attack. We knew the wold before, and we know…
“Maybe they think this president has been extremely stagnant.”
I’m ignoring all the racism and old southern tradition of honoring losers of the sourth, I was initially taken by the picture. The Auburn students (I assume they are auburn students), with “Never Forget” painted on their bodies, as they cheer wildly, wave pom-poms, and look extremely pleased. It seems they’ve…
Did you really just list virtually every Apple+ show except Mythic Quest?
Thank you. I see “Start Slideshow,” I move on.
Ah yes, parks and churches, the ONLY two reasons that there could be pedestrians somewhere, or a reason to help control speed. What BS luck for someone trying to do good. That truck driver better end up in jail.
When everyone else is going 75, 100 only looks like 25.
Looking back, the most stressful arrests I had to make in my career were arresting white women. I ALWAYS had at least woman officer with me (preferably white) and others when dealing with women like this. White women, when taken into custody, go from full Ashleigh to Miss Ann during the whole process:
