The catch with Best Buy, which I would imagine Sony isn’t pleased with, is that to get the consoles at the local drops you have to sign up for their geek squad elite service or whatever ($200 more) and there is no guarantee that you will get one. Walmart is doing a similar program.

I watched the first three seasons. And overall it was pretty enjoyable. There are stakes not usually seen on a kids show, like people actually die. 

Sadly, a lot of new shows for kids use the same CGI format/program to crank out cartoons. Making them all look like crap to our more distinguished eyes. Kids don’t seem to care, so I doubt it’s going to change. 

Incredibly common, one of my friends is deaf and is constantly charged for wait times, constantly harassed for “not answering the phone” when called by drivers (even though it’s not possible for her to hear a single thing they might say over a phone).

I watched the original It (which I guess was actually a TV miniseries or something) for the first time when I was in college and it is absolutely terrible. Like laughably bad. I love Tim Curry as much as the next guy but it is not the least bit scary and yet people my age who saw it as children always seemed…

I feel like I am going to get roasted for this... but.. the original Star Wars movies. Now I LOVE them (as does most of the world)... but when you take a step back.. the acting is stilted and the pacing is slow (especially a New Hope). It was difficult to get my wife to care about them with her never having seen them…

I mostly tuned in because a friend who was a big fan of the comic passed in April from brain cancer. He was excited the show was finally happening when he got sick. We even joked he was going to get a monkey and name it Ampersand, at one point.
