Pointy shoes go nicely with my “silly hats” rule for interpreting ancient and medieval art and even recent photos. If you’re wondering who’s in charge in any bas relief, painting, or sculpture, it’s the person with the least practical hat.

Now I’m curious if the Trival guys experience a higher rate bunions as well.

Love that painting of the dance scene, imagine the chaos as those shoes combined with the long dress trains all over the floor. One guy is standing right on the dress as it is. Would have been like some sort of “Carry On” style movie scene.

I’m a shoe horse and I can tell you that my feet die for fashion. Sometimes the pain can last more than a day. I get it.

Or, perhaps poor people developed bunions because they couldn’t afford new shoes all the time and had to put up with shoes that didn’t necessarily fit.  Note that people’s feet get larger as they age.

Didn’t they say 10 was going to absolutely be their final version? I’m still salty they made me give up my beautiful 7 on my desktop for it.    Not so sad about losing 8 on my laptop though.

There’s some PR guy out there patting himself on the back for this, although the fact that netflix isn’t releasing anyone to talk about this indicates that they know that they fucked up. *sigh*
