Reminds me of something I once read where a kid had saved up like $20 to buy some toy, his dad took him to the store to get the thing, and when the cashier said the total with tax - $21.05 or whatever instead of $20 even - the dad MADE HIM PUT THE TOY BACK AND LEAVE to ‘teach him a lesson about taxes.’

We had a snow removal service. The kid a block over is saving up for a car and he not only shows up earlier, he does a better job of it.
