Don’t let your cat roam around outside, period. The coyotes are performing a useful service by preventing cats from killing native birds and small mammals. Even if you think your cat is a lousy hunter, they are still an introduced, unnatural predator and their presence disrupts native wildlife.

What are you doing in your life that’s so important you have to weasel out of jury duty? It’s actually pretty fun, even the boring cases. The bad part is sitting around waiting for them to bring you in for selection. Show me how to get out of that. Oh wait, they addressed that, now you just call in the night before.

Is this immoral week again or something?

Such a weird article. I’m not sure who this is for. Sounds like an Android user who’s jealous of their Apple-using friends. I doubt there’s a massive population of Apple users that are pining for Android just as much as I doubt there’s a massive population of Android users pining for iOS. Once people find what works

The majority of people I see wearing masks now aren’t “decently” wearing them, if they are wearing one at all. They’ve got their nose out, they pull them down to talk, or they just leave them on their chin. An N95 isn’t going to change the way they wear them or encourage those that aren’t wearing them to put one on.

just like with other “recycling” articles, why is the focus not more on finding a more biodegradable or reusable option and cycling out the uber-cheap and non-reusable Styrofoam? We can ask individuals to “reduce, reuse, recycle” until we are blue in the face, but as long as these single-use and non-environmentally

Man, how much did you get from Disney+ to plug Home Alone?

Back to the Future is great and all, but “basically perfect?”

Big Trouble in Little China trumps both of those flicks, fight me.

Why are the buyers/sellers communicating at all? I bought two houses in the last four years and never spoke to the sellers other than through my agents.   My buyers for the first house I left when they did the showing.   I was there for the inspection (unavoidable working from home in a pandemic) but I didn’t talk to

Ava Duvernay is “great?”

Midnight Mass was neither haunting, deranged, or impressively poignant. I would use words like boring, fruitless and dragging. The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor were Twilight Zone episodes dragged out to 9 hours.

How is it legal for airlines to OVERSELL their flights?

THIS is the picture you chose for this article?

Just to keep things in perspective. 72 down to 68 is going to save you maybe 10 bucks a month. (region and weather adjusted obvs)

Perfect is the enemy of the good. This article is an enemy of mask wearing, not a proponent. The clickbait title takes advantage of the same people who will see the article as grounds for toting the ineffectiveness of wearing masks.

I’m eyebleedingly skeptical that a virus has mutated in such a way as to change its size to an extent meaningful enough to change the efficacy of cloth masks.  (Google searches are also not turning up anything about Omicron being any different in size than prior variants.)

Hold up, lol, the author of the book is the guy who ran the Stanford Prison Experiment. No thanks, I will not give quacks and unethical frauds my time.

Uhhh... I just looked up the book, it’s a lot of pop psychology nonsense. What year are you in your major? Btw, the Stanford Prison Experiment and the Bystander Effect have been blown out of proportion in our culture and ultimately debunked by researchers.

You seem to have some interesting opinions but lack the ability to explain them at all. Care to explain how helping ‘about 5%’ is a bad thing and then go on to explain how wearing one is controlling the populace?

I know what an N95 mask is, because it says so on it, but it would be good to show a picture of “medical-grade surgical” masks. The blue and white papery ones? The hospital ones that tie in the back? The video linked in the fourth section of the article is not helpful.

Try taking medicines in the original bottle when you have 12+ medicines between the members of the family. No thank you.
