I've always considered Bug's Life as the spoiler for Antz. I see it less Seven Samurai and more Three Amigos - Antz might be a bit clunkier in the animation (a point my graphic designer/animator girlfriend couldn't get past) but it's got stronger social commentary, is more inspirational and has better characters…

Definitive?
Finally got around to seeing this. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that this is the "definitive" cop drama but it's close. If a show flops over here (in Oz) then you can pretty much guarantee that it's worth seeing.
