I once started ‘the seven deadly sins’ on Netflix and the obvious fanservice was really disturbing and stupid. The female character was basically a sex doll and it was really awkward/creepy/cringy, I couldn’t pass the first episode.

It didn’t help that the pokemon we previously caught weren’t counted. They put the challenge a few weeks after the release, and a lot of players actually finished the game. I only caught some pokemons missing from my pokedex, and tried to shiny hunt.

Not sure it is about being old, esport is actually pretty old. I loved to watch warcraft 3 tournaments 12-13 years ago. Maybe you just don’t like it (which is fine).

FFXIV is the best FF I’ve played since IV, so many great memories, a great community, the game just feels good. I stopped a bit because I’ve no time with work, but it’s an amazing MMO. I’m curious to see XV, launching it right now

Exactly! I thought of the exact same thing when reading pokedex entries. They describe true animal/nature behaviors, pokemon trying to survive or hunting each other. It’s like a complete different take on the IP than when you play the game and look at your pokemons playing together.

An evolution/life-sim like Spore and a space exploration game like NMS are 2 different things, and by putting both in a same game you have a lot of chance to fail at…
