Are you aware that the ratio here is a square?
I'll try to find these articles. I read a lot of them some time ago as someone in my family was doing video game research. It was a canadian doctor if I recall correctly.
As for the addiction, it's a bit more complicated, and it also involves a chemical aspect, I wouldn't explain it correctly
But we can't talk of addiction like when we are speaking about drugs, and that's what most doctors/researchers/associations do
Screw these dino researchers who still think video game addiction exists. In France we have very good psychologists that strongly fight against this misconception. Brilliant addiction specialist doctors proved it doesn't exist. There is no such thing as addiction when we speak about video games. Words matter.
I'm having a blast at this game. Can't wait to take a walk in my oil factories nightmarish district!
Best of luck. I liked his work and I hope he can find a studio or funds to make other movies.
Nice comparison :) thanks
I didn't play Halo: is this bouncing bullet a normal part of the game? Quite frankly I hope it's not because it just looks super annoying. You aim randomly, spamming the walls hoping you kill someone, or you can being killed completely randomly by a bouncing bullet.
The sliding in FFXV makes no sense at all. The sliding in Xenoblade makes perfect sense as the character slide under the enemy.
Yeah I know, I love Brendon's work :)
I strongly think that quality is far better than quantity. For the same price, a 1h game gives you an incredible moments and long-lasting memories of it.. it's better than a 40h 'meh' game you'll quickly forget. That being said, thirty flights of loving is a special game indeed! I personally find it incredible and I…
Quite frankly that would be a lot more awesome than doing traditionnal stuff. I would love to model and draw food all day instead of serious stuff :)
Good list. Gotta love these games when you don't have the time to play long RPG or time-consuming games.
Serious question; do we have numbers somewhere that show the percentage of these players vs the normal ones?
lost it at 'oogabooga'
I played countless games, this is honestly maybe the shittiest I've ever tried.
Oh man fuck this you are bringing back all the nightmares
Is it slowly transforming into a regular controller?
I really enjoy it. Haven't test the online yet. It may be frustrating if you are a pro fighting game player, as it's more spectacular (like Budokai) than purely technical. Also the customization and rpg elements are awesome.
