Because of sound. High revs sounds better. You might only care about performance, but many of us want a well rounded package.

Because by comparison, those other engines you listed sound like complete dog shit.
The only thing that comes close is the 550, and it’s a Beck. The rest are just meh, especially those last few pieces of garbage you posted.
You asked a question, I answered. WWE is also popular, that doesn’t mean it’s any good.
Yup, more beautiful than any of those.
People who don’t give a flying rat’s ass about racing ridiculously ugly “cars” around tiny dirt ovals?
It was fast in its day, and it’s still more beautiful than every car you can buy for the same money today. It also sounds better than almost anything you can buy today for any price. I’d rather be in a F355 with a Capristo exhaust than something much faster that sounds just average-good.
This has got me nostalgic and wanting to re-watch the Ferrari 550 hillclimb video that we all know and love:
I love seeing the big ass spoiler connected to the rear diffuser. I can’t recall seeing that before anywhere.
I don’t think it’s nonsense at all. I’m sure certain suburbs of Tacoma are decently nice, but that place is a shithole in general. I’d rather take my chances somewhere like Tukwila than I would Lakewood or South Park areas of Tacoma.
They call him a flamepoint or flame-tip siamese. It’s because of the orange pattern on his face.
Yup, that’s exactly what he is. I didn’t even know though until about a year ago, randomly found that info on the internet one day. I thought he was just a random mix.
Why would I pick a base Macan over a Golf R or Audi Allroad? Simple, looks. I love the way the Macan looks. Now realistically I’m not buying any of them anyways, would rather have a much cheaper and more “pedestrian” DD and keep my 911 as a hobby car. I’m just not rich enough to be able to afford expensive DD’s, and…
Seemed appropriate, since he was sitting right next to a Mugen header.
Got my cat in a similar way. I was living in Japan at the time, driving my 2008 Civic Type R, kitten I’m the middle of a 4 lane 50kph road. Stopped and tried to get him off the road, thought he ran away. He actually wedged himself in between my firewall and engine. Now I didn’t drive 300 miles, but got home that night…
We’re talking about software development here. It’s what I do for a living, although I haven’t done much AI beyond the basic decision making you see in most programs. Note the stop for pedestrians walking on the sidewalk at 1:30, it will take the engineers and developers almost as long to keep that from happening as…
Why? That one didn’t get the ignition switch recall?
At about 1:30 mark and 2:33 mark, it would have caused a rear-end collision. I’m enthusiastic about this tech, but it’s got a long ways to go. I’m very happy to see they are progressing, but it’s clear it’s not quite ready yet.
Well, at least he’ll finally get to lose his virginity... in jail!
