KBB is useful sometimes, but for many cars it’s really not. Especially anything that can be considered a collector’s or enthusiast’s car. Although in your case I’m sure that it is fairly accurate.
Wait, so you’re saying I can diet and exercise and cut 3" off of my height so I can fit better in my beloved sports cars? If I let myself go, I’ll get taller?
Yeah, all of those are problems, but I still don’t think this car should be lauded for its LeMans history. Call it something else, it has no more relation to the GT40 or the previous Ford GT than a mid-engine Ferrari does.
What heritage did it keep from the original? The shape is completely different, engine is no longer a V8, it’s not a homologation car, it’s share the same basic layout I guess, but that’s about it. Not an opinion, just facts. They could have easily called it the Ford Generic and sold just as many, because it’s a great…
Other than the name, there is very little to no heritage in this car. The 2005 model had heritage, this does not. Ford is just cashing in on the GT40 name for their new supercar.
I like the 2005 because it's much more of a heritage car. It looks really similar to the original. This new one has almost nothing in common with the original except the nameplate.
Just an observation that is a bit off topic, but I actually saw a Camry that fit the description earlier today...
This makes me want to drive by the nearest vape shop to me, the guy who works there during the day drives an amazingly beat up but modded EG Civic hatchback.
For $4500 I'll take it and DD it for a while, but only if he is includes the Crossfire with it. I've always wanted to take a car to a junkyard and put it in a crusher. That abomination of a car called the Crossfire is a perfect example. So I get a decent DD, some entertainment at the junk yard, and do the world a…
No, it’s not. That’s a rumor started by dealerships to sell the car. The only BMW’s sold that might be slower to 30 is perhaps an entry level X5 and maybe something else. But even the base model 320i beats it to 30 with a decent driver. It's consistent and easy to get to 30, but it's not really that quick. A couple…
It only felt faster than you expected it to be, in reality it’s not very quick. It’s one of the slowest BMW’s sold both 0-30 and 0-60. It’s just so easy, no modulating the throttle, no waiting for revs, just instant power delivery. But put a competent driver in any decent modern car and they’ll beat the i3 no problem.
What’s happening in this video?
Russia.
As long as it’s in his driveway, I see no issue with this.
She appears to have survived the 1960's but not with all her mental capacity. If you haven’t been around one of these people it’s difficult to understand, but they are almost “perma-stoned.” I've got an uncle like this, he was a teenager in the 60's and even though he's perfectly sober and "healthy" he's just…
I think you are being far too critical of the people commenting about the dog. It's natural to feel bad for "defenseless" animals. That dog had no choice in the matter, it was an innocent bystander if you want to put a label on it. They saved the lady, that's great, but the dog had no way to protest to this lady to…
That’s what I was thinking, but there is a Fiat Barchetta which is just a regular roadster. You might be right though.
This is what I thought at first, but there is that Fiat named the Barchetta that has a full windshield.
Well, given their purpose, racing, I don't think they are that ridiculous. On the street? Yeah sure, but it's still better than something like an Ariel Atom.
