Here in WA, we can't even use our cell phones while stopped at a stoplight or stop sign. Yet people still do it, they did it before the Pokémon Go craze, and they will continue doing it after.

Or, “I live in a warm environment and I don’t like my interior to be a freaking oven when I park it anywhere outside for more than 90 seconds.”
Affordable is a relative term. Yes it was cheaper than a Ferrari, but that doesn’t mean it was affordable by any means. When most people talk about affordable sports cars today, they are talking about BRZ price, not Cayman S price.
I think my statement “MANY MANY years" was clear enough, I meant go back as far as you can, humanity was screwed up. Just now we can "Periscope" our stupidity live for millions to see.
Just Google it, “1993 Supra Original Price” and the first link shows each year. Topped out at high 40's.
Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. People have chosen a freaking app that most people aren’t even using in their car as a target. Yet we have people with multiple DUI’s and reckless speeding infractions still driving every day. If you are going to target bad driving, target bad driving, not Pokémon Go, haha.
Google lead me to this: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/toyota/19…
So, endangering lives means people should lose their license? Interesting. I guess we should tell that to all the people who have “just a beer” and then go driving, or people who tailgate as close as possible and then quickly change lanes, weaving in and out of traffic. Or how about people that run lights that just…
“Society” has been screwed up for MANY MANY years, just in different ways than it is now. The main difference now, compared to any other time in history, is we have simple and instant communication accessible to almost everyone on Earth. So we see more of human stupidity than we ever have before. But just because we…
That’s the problem, the market just isn’t there to make it profitable. Many of the people talking on the internet about wanting an affordable sports car won't buy one brand new even if it does come around. It's a vicious cycle.
FRS/BRZ, MX5. Hell, go find a base model BMW 228i with very few options and that somewhat meets the no-frills requirement and it's faster than most cars out there.
I can remember my dad shopping for a new 1993 Supra and we knew two people who owned them, and neither of them paid anywhere near MSRP, which is why my dad refused to buy one. Then over the next two years the MSRP jumped to $50k. The Celica Supra’s, fine, but they weren’t even on the same level as they were when the…
Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiich wouldn’t be too far off of the MKIV Supra (adjusted for inflation).
When was the Supra ever an "affordable" sports car? It was a $50k car in the mid 90's. In today's money, that's approaching $80k.
As long as it looks exactly like that (which I know it won’t) it could bepowered by a hamster wheel and I would still buy it.
If it was actually an autopilot system, maybe. But this is simply adaptive cruise control and lane keeping. The driver sets the max cruise control speed.
Can we just refer to this as the "Corvette REAL Z06" and call the other one the ZR-1, you know, since that's what it actually is?
My kids and I play as much as possible. But never in the car. We drive to parks or other places and get out and walk. However, I commute to/from work every day on the bus. So even while driving by I can get Pokestops and catch Pokémon as long as I time it right. I call them supply runs, tons of experience and easily…
I commute to and from work by bus. On my way home it’s not an express line, so something like 40 stops. Over 9 miles of actual distance, it registered 0.2km, which I know much more than that is under 20mph (which is supposedly the limit for registering distance in the game).
When my family moved from Houston to Seattle I was 7 years old. My dad had an International Scout that had two giant fuel tanks retrofitted into the rear interior, so no back seats, just he floor with gas tanks on each side. We would sit on them going to/from Little League baseball games. But I rode between those gas…
