These 240sx’s are 26xx all stock, so there is your 800lb weight difference. Stop acting like you know what you are talking about. Yes, your car is indeed a fat pig.

Perhaps I’m weird, but I think it looks better than the old one.
In the back is "just fine" as well.
The front is the “wrong” spot for an engine as well. It’s just convenient for people hauling and cargo space which is why it’s popular. The only correct place for the engine is directly behind the driver.
I can’t stand the voiceover guy on the Hot Version videos so I never did watch them. It helps of course that I know Japanese, but even if I didn’t I would rather watch Best Motoring videos with subtitles versus listening to that guy’s annoying ass voice.
I disagree, I’m 6'3" and have owned a 92 TSi AWD and 94 Eclipse GSX. I drove the 94 Eclipse all over Europe when I was stationed there and had absolutely no comfort issues whatsoever. Autocrossed it and fit fine with a helmet too.
I've had this argument on here before with people, but thank god they integrated the displays into the dash instead of doing the separate tacked on screen sticking out of the dash that so many manufacturers are doing now. Looks sooooo much better, despite the "better visibility via lower dashboard" argument that…
The people who favorited the post understood that it was tongue-in-cheek. The fact that you couldn't is funny.
Fantasize? I don’t have to, it’s a reality. The federal government paid for 30% of my solar panel system and my state government paid for the rest. They also heavily subsidized my electric vehicle lease. Also Jezebel or Gawker? Never posted there, I’m a Jalop, that’s all. Did you even serve in the military? I did, and…
Twice? What are you talking about? You responded to the same damn comment twice.
Or maybe he likes the way the 911R looks/sounds/drives/etc better? Not everyone who buys a Porsche/Ferrari/Lamborghini/etc does it primarily because of the logo on the front and back.
I could say the same about front engine. Any REAL sports car should have the engine directly behind the driver, over the rear wheels. Front-engine is for family cars and trucks.
Other than the ridiculously ugly blue interior, this is an amazing car. THIS is what the Z06 should have been from the start. The current Z06 should be called a ZR1 instead. I would love this car, and then pull out the stock seats for some FIA approved race buckets and then call it good.
Wow, I’ve never seen someone so butthurt over something so little.
Relax.
It’s about priorities. The nation need to spend that ~$500mil (each) in different ways. So many of our social systems (education, healthcare, etc) are struggling or outright failing. We are a world superpower with our military fleet as-is, we can spend billions on that in a few years and still be just fine. Let’s…
No we don’t actually, good sir.
Yeah, but like I said, the diminished capacities were due to poor design of thermal management systems for the most part. I still think leasing an EV is the way to go for the next 5 years so, by then longevity issues should be a non-issue for the most part.
They already do last 8 years. Hell, most of them are warrantied for 8 to 10. They will last longer than that. How well they hold their capacity depends how well their thermal management and charging methods were handled.
After owning an EV (BMW i3) now for a year as a daily driver, I don’t ever want another daily driver that’s not an EV. Note, I’m only saying DAILY DRIVER, as in a disposable A to B tool. I think I’ll always have some ICE in my garage for fun.
Thanks for the information. Even knowing that now though, it still doesn’t help me to like it any more, haha.
