Really? I just went to look at the reviews. There was one episode she gave a C+ to and then the rest of them were like B+/A-. It seems like she liked it.

Even in the context Bill Maher was using the word, he could have easily said "house Negro" to express the exact same idea and he probably still would have gotten some blowback (personally I think it's kind of obnoxious for white people to say stuff like that) but he wouldn't have had to use the N-word.
