Facebook users were quick to point out that an older post on the dealership’s page congratulating a white couple for their purchase managed to get their names right.
Being embarrassed has never been a proper excuse not to do the right thing. Any white person who has given racism any thought will recognise what’s happening. “I don’t think I’m (that) racist personally, but I’d rather not interfere with racism.” is just. not. good. enough.

Double points if you are a woman. With COVID, I had started to just get out of the way as fast and far as possible, but now that I’m half-vaccinated, I think my feminist, rebellious arse will go back to looking straight ahead and just keeping walking. Them mens always look so surprised.
I’ll buy it, but will never watch it.
Or NPD, with the callousness.
