I don't think it's as intentional or conspiratorial as you may think.  Evan's a writer for Milwaukee's alt-weekly and freelances.  It's not like he reports to Generalissimo Nathan Rabin at work every day.

Finished Harry Mathews' first two novels, and you can tell why he joined Oulipo.  Yesterday, I read a pair of Tom Stoppard television movie scripts (Professional Foul and Squaring the Circle).  The former is better, although the latter is interesting as a political television essay.

True.  I remember Hopkins being far better than I expected. 

I've seen his Hamlet, and I remember it was decent, and at least better than Richard Burton's unwatchable version.

I like the idea of Dinklage, but I would still want to keep Seething Sam Neill on the show.  I also want scenes of the Warden driving around in a 50s convertible with a prisoner shackled in the back seat, and an extended cabaret/lounge scene. 

That's what I was thinking, especially with all the pie references in the episode.

This would be less funny if I hadn't been listening to Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar on Thursday night.
