I don't think it's as intentional or conspiratorial as you may think. Evan's a writer for Milwaukee's alt-weekly and freelances. It's not like he reports to Generalissimo Nathan Rabin at work every day.

Finished Harry Mathews' first two novels, and you can tell why he joined Oulipo. Yesterday, I read a pair of Tom Stoppard television movie scripts (Professional Foul and Squaring the Circle). The former is better, although the latter is interesting as a political television essay.
They should have just paid the Black Keys the $100K.
You think he was born knowing how to tossle his hair like that?
The bird comes down and you win a hundred dollars.
True. I remember Hopkins being far better than I expected.
I've seen his Hamlet, and I remember it was decent, and at least better than Richard Burton's unwatchable version.
I like the idea of Dinklage, but I would still want to keep Seething Sam Neill on the show. I also want scenes of the Warden driving around in a 50s convertible with a prisoner shackled in the back seat, and an extended cabaret/lounge scene.
That's what I was thinking, especially with all the pie references in the episode.

McDonalds: I'm Louvin It.
I was going to post the same thing, Josey. Also, there's a 10cc song referencing the same campaign as well.
Agreed.
Looks like a beard epidemic hit the band in that photo. With Colin Meloy now infected, only Jenny Conlee remains beard-free.
Game Theory are pretty ace. They deserve to be better known.

I'm a Peter Green person myself. I've read Fleetwood's autobiography where he says that every subsequent guitarist who joined "saved the band." Bob Welch = BAND SAVIOUR
Killer, insane song.
Me either, although I'm from Wisconsin as well. I had never heard of this before now.
1993? I totally thought the AVC was going to recommend Wild Palms. Another crushed dream.
