That's right, the Modern Combat Single player was really awful.

That's not the first Battlefield. It was the first one with a story. I thought Bad Company was funny at times but also super corny at other times. I think you have to realize that the Bad Company games are not part of the core Battlefield series which have always been about serious multiplayer battles.

There is something oddly addicting to the Multiplayer Beta. I wouldn't count on R3 being much better than 2. I never finished FoM but I did muster through R2 and I did not like the campaign at all. The Co-op and Multiplayer were pretty good though. I expect more of the same from R3.

This looks like fun! Elements of Marble madness type games.

That's my plan. I remember playing the game for hours I just don't remember anything about what happened while I was playing. I remember a cave with some moogles and that's it. I turn it on and I have a boat (I don't remember a boat?!) and no clue where to go.

Me too. I'm in Towson on the city line and they restored all of the rich neighborhoods first. We still could be out for days. Mainly it's just the fridge and phones and knowing that our alarm system is down that bugs me/freaks me out.

When you do this does it keep what's saved on the HD?

There actually was a card with a code I still have mine. I think they did it so that people couldn't take advantage of it with a used or borrowed game.

It really still doesn't make any sense. Game stop already sold the customers a copy of the PC game. They took out the code because they have an online store (community) that sells the game as well. who is going to buy the game twice for the same platform for themselves?
