Maybe that makes sense. Bruce Wayne is a self-absorbed asshole and all he cares about is that Jason died under his watch, not that Jason died, period. That's not a memorial for Jason; it's a memorial for Batman's failure.

Mixed feelings on this, which is better than the Nope it was previously. I liked Jeremy Irons as Alfred, though he really strongly reminds me of a moustache-less Gordon. I really don't like Eisenberg as Luthor, though he did seem to be channeling Hackman in that last bit. Nothing to say yet about Gal Gadot; please…
Late to the party, but Pilcher goes completely off the deep end here. He's let his messiah complex get the best of him and it's turned into megalomania. Telling the truth killed Group A. Not telling the truth turned several members of Group B so desperate they broke through the wall and have now let the Abbies in. Way…
Since I don't see anyone else commenting on it, this 'Master Race' is Superman and his daughter or possibly the Kryptonians and the Amazons, right? Superman takes over the world?
It is, absolutely, one of the worst things I've read in my life.
Nope. Just being beat up.
Just so. Makes a greater difference than I would have expected.
My introduction to Transformers was through Beast Machines. And as such, yes, it was pretty damn good if it didn't have Beast Wars hanging over its head.
Huh. I liked that. Mostly. Holmes seems different from his modern self.
The first of the third? Really? Huh.
And they're not half bad. Not great. But not half bad.
Many do.
Fun read.
London being annihilated was my favourite scene in either movie.
It has a lot of potential for nuanced and interesting storytelling, following those complications. But I have a feeling it won't go that way. We are only following George's story because he was part of the synth project, I think.
What Bigmouth said below. They were all captured, except Max. We don't know why they weren't modded or why the modding didn't work, but they were sold to the fruit farm and the brothel, they weren't hiding there.
Laura had a pre-built bias against synths. Possibly that plays a part in this. If it was a human maid, maybe she wouldn't object.
That's an interesting observation re: baked-in politics. My immediate sympathy was with George because who wants to get ordered around by a machine? Or anyone/thing for that matter. But this is a good point. I wonder if the writers are making that point or it's just emergent.
That was Niska. Anita is the home synth living with the Hawkings.
The economics of synths in the series is going to be murky at best, so whether or not a synth brothel is viable from an economic perspective is a moot point.
