I agree that a la carte programming is expensive and exclusives suck, but the iTunes model of buying episodes existed way before streaming, and people complained about pricing and found excuses to pirate then as they do now. It’s also very possible and only mildly inconvenient to pause/rotate your subs around.

LOL

Setting up a bot to download stuff = still more effort than navigating amazon’s interface

It’s far more inconvenient to pirate it when you already have access, not sure why many people would.

Sure. I believe you’d pay $2 an episode as opposed to $8 for one month unlimited binging, if they would only give you the option!

Just reiterating, you have to CALL. emails are documented but easily ignored. holding a live person on the phone line or blowing up voicemail boxes makes a much bigger impact.

The police hearing about it second hand could potentially weaken the case. It shouldn’t but probably does.

Well, I got the joke.

You think 3 YEARS of probation is reasonable? This should be a ticket or a fine.

As someone who works in a school, our school lunches are now terrible, but that’s 100% the fault of our state only being willing to spend the same $1 they spent on junk lunches on lunches that now meet the new healthy guidelines. $1 of healthy food doesn’t go very far, but rather than criticize our state being cheap

For some reason the bedtime notification rarely goes off for me. The morning alarm always does which I guess is the more important of the two, but it’s only triggered at night correctly maybe 2-3 times since I upgraded to the new iOS.

Because money is the only reason anyone would quit and NO ONE AT ALL has ever successfully done it.

It’s obvious they took pains to be respectful. Accusing a family of misgendering from a single statement of grief is a little much.

I’ve had mine for a while, I buy bulk bags of lettuce at Sam’s and it keeps them fresh (not brand new fresh but perfectly edible fresh) 2-3 days longer than leaving them in the bag or storing them in a plastic container. If nothing else the raised tray keeps the pieces on the bottom from getting slimy. I read reviews

I think that would go over much better.

It’s still a bunch of unregulated chemicals (not that cigarette chemicals are better, but we know what they are) and a lot of assholes seem to think it’s fine to use them in cars/indoors/confined spaces with other people and not follow the same social etiquette as smokers generally do because they are “100% safe” (a

I’m always surprised at the huge drawback that never gets mentioned about self-kiosks: an increase in theft and that it’s basically impossible to prove theft because of the “it’s too hard, the machine malfunctioned” excuse. They lose in merchandise what they save in labor costs.

Maybe, but being significantly heavier makes it much more of a pain in the ass to lug around, and my mother couldn’t use it comfortably without it hurting her wrists. Ease of use > theoretical scientific efficiency in this case.

For what it’s worth, we have both and the Walmart version is substantially heavier than the RTIC.

I used to use it in college and it was great until I switched to seasonique, and my flow got really thin and watery and was leaking around the edges. It also maintained kind of a weird smell despite boiling it. Nothing terrible but a little off-putting and I definitely wouldn’t have kept it for 10 years. Now if I went
