You probably didn’t see the footage. It wasn’t one comment. They talked about him over the entirety of the race, often focusing the camera on him and then repeated at least five times that it was all due to him when the race finished. They went into a lot of detail about how a woman (who was already an Olympic

That's not what's happening here.

It might be equally unlikely that he would have been president without her. They support each other’s ambitions and like most couples, drive each other’s destinies.

Nope, we can not all agree on that.

Does this remind anyone else of the pictures of Bill Clinton that graced newspaper front pages under the headlines announcing the country’s first woman presidential nominee by a major party?

I was followed home from the park after working my dogs today. I could hear him behind me saying things like “Oh she’s a tough bitch - she bossed those dogs so good - she can boss me - look at this bitch - where’s she going” and I was trying to control my dogs and text my husband to meet me at our front gate as I

That is creepy as hell. It’s difficult enough just being a normal woman in the world, being a female celebrity must be fucking awful at times.

Frames the face yo. Anything drawing / reflecting light to the face is good, and you can’t wear a diamond necklace every day.

Popcorn is fine. Popcorn covered in salt and butter, not fine.

There were other reasons not to believe him. He didn’t look like he was injured in his mugshot and a third party is also saying he made up the story. Yes the police often do mistreat white people and lie about it. But this isn’t one of those cases.

Well, if you accept the mugshot as valid he had no facial injuries when they locked him up. He apparently does admit to hitting himself with the phone and does not claim he was beaten in jail.

it was from his ass

his 100000000 word facebook post is incredible. he claims a psychiatrist told him it was a good idea to hit himself in the head in order to get out of his jail cell.

I agree. I think providing content warnings is a good thing to do as a courtesy and as a way to help students participate fully in the class. But I don’t think a professor should be held accountable if they missed warning the class that a story contained fish and someone happened to have severe ichthyophobia. If

I have been out of university for a while (and my grad degree was science-based, so nothing I can imagine being triggering there). So, my only observation of this discussion has been on the internet. As an outsider, my only concern is that the list of potential triggers seems to grow and grow, and “triggering” has

I find that trigger warnings, or as you call them, content warnings, are incredibly degree-specific in their abundance. For example: in film studies classes, where especially graphic scenes are rare in our class’s required viewing, are made every time it is appropriate. On the other hand, in art history classes, there

And what makes you think that any “big check” the US hypothetically cuts will be used on refugees?

Will Hill and Bill retake the white house with a lanniester-esque fury, republicans are gonna wish they had the obama’s back

Counterpoint (and no disrespect intended): Like other “holy” books, the Quran is made up (by man) and should be understood in the context of the time and culture it was written in. Not saying it does not have a lot of beauty and truth about life, but to consider a book the inerrant word of God is how troubles start.

I’m a man who has been blackout drunk many times. Even with serious “clouded judgement” moments there was never a time where I thought “I should have sex with this unconscious girl”. You either have morals or you don’t. He doesn’t.
