The problem with Stargate Universe was that it was, frankly, ahead of it’s time. It’s a really good show to binge watch, but that wasn’t a thing when it was airing. Now that’s the way many people consume shows.

Never read the books so all the nuance the plot was probably lost on me. But I was entertained, I get the concept (gods require worship/sacrifice for strength, Ian McShane is amazing in everything he does) and I’ll probably watch next week. By myself, since I don’t see myself able to convince my SO to watch this one.
