I didn’t think the production values for the pilot were that great, compared with Dark Matter. In fact, Dark Matter episode two vs Killjoys pilot had Dark Matter winning. At least, for my SO and I.

I doubt MGM would allow that. Looks like the set designer is Doug Slater. Ian Brock is the production designer and Kimberly Zahark is the art director... none of whom worked on anything Stargate.

Not to mention young Adria from SG1’s later seasons...

Actually, they’re not SGU sets. SGU was filmed in Vancouver. Dark Matter was filmed entirely in Toronto, and Joe Mallozzi had to relocate in order to exec. produce/write the show.

Excited about this one! I’ve been reading Joe Mallozzi’s blog for years now and he’s done a lot of teasing and sneak peeks with this one just like with SG1/Atlantis/Universe.

I enjoyed the Amell Cousins finally being on screen together. You KNOW they probably had a crap ton of fun doing that.

I found it amusing that Oliver didn’t even slightly go ‘hey what about Ray?’. The breakup was never communicated on screen AND they did borrow Ray’s jet...
