Because Civ 6 is turn based and maybe not everyone likes turn based. Also, that stuff is part of what makes and RTS an RTS. If you remove all that stuff then it isn’t an RTS anymore. Where’s the originality in any genre these days? Most genres are stagnant.

What makes you say that? It’s got base building, factions that play differently from one another, etc etc. Sounds like a decent RTS to me.

Ya, no movie tie in is a very good thing. I know Spider Man 2 isn’t perfect, I just remember swinging around the city was damn fun and felt pretty smooth. It was also fun hanging bad guys upside down on the street lights once you unlocked that ability.

Different strokes different folks. Horizon is open world questing game number 500 and Zelda is Zelda + Skyrim. I’d rather be playing Halo Wars 2.

I asked for it, and am glad I got it.

Even if people do pop the game in and only play for an hour...so what? Maybe that’s all they want. No one is expecting to get invested in these old games the way they did when they were a kid, but the fact that we can pop them in and play them for an hour without having to dig the OG Xbox out of the closet is awesome.

I don’t see how that’s possible. You must be playing indie games on it at 4k or running the game at 4k but medium settings because all the benchmarks I’ve read for the 1070 it doesn’t hit 4k/60fps on ANY game.

This is exciting. The only thing I worry about is it might be hard to get a hold of some of these old games. Hopefully they sell a digital version of the games.

That’s back when Cliffy was still the head of the franchise. Ever since he left it feels like the series is missing...something. He had a special touch.

Not sure about the Esports scene still being supported or not but they still update the game. Hell, the latest patch just came out back in April. Also, they announced the Starcraft Remaster a month or so ago. A complete remaster of the first game updated with 4k and all that jazz.
