Unfortunately those horrible/non-working games still sold well. Something could be the biggest piece of shit in the world and if it makes money and it's profitable then it doesn't matter. Plus I wouldn't say EA releases horrible games, just unfinished ones.

Ya GoG is definitely the place to go to buy classic games. I bought Fallout 2 from them a while ago and the game ran amazingly well for such an old game. I'm on a Windows 7 PC. It never crashed on me or anything.
