I think the new Sleigh Bells album disappointed me so much because I really liked the single. Same with Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Mosquito; loved "Sacrilege," meh on the album.

I like Yeezus much, much more than MBDTF. Kanye's self-indulgence on MBDTF was trying, especially outside of the singles(everything after "Runaway" on the album is muddy slog). He raps with so much more feeling on Yeezus and the production, while sparse, is much more focused and effective. I'm glad that he made 808's…

I really love that Cults album. Much more than their debut.

The AVC's complete dismissal of RUN THE JEWELS would be hilarious if it didn't obviously act as a hint to just how far down this site has gone now. Such a shame, really. It's more heartbreaking than anything else.
