Yes. Like most artists, they get make most of their money on tour and merchandise. So, as they're touring like crazy, if people have already listened to their album(and who wouldn't…it's free!) they're more likely to come out and see them because they know they'll hear two officially awesome rappers at one show.

I think people don't have the patience for it. I think it's great, though. It's still in my top 10 of the year and it's been a fantastic year for music.
