And South Park will inevitably do the same “Douche and Turd”, Libertarian nonsense where anyone who advocates for societal change, unless it personally inconveniences Trey Parker and Matt Stone to the status quo is an idiot at best or evil at worst and the things that they advocate for, no matter how much they improve

awful, 43-yr old me recalls this so clearly. My 4th grade teacher was apparently a finalist in this teacher search- she’d met/knew McAuliffe and therefore our entire school was in an assembly watching (on 3 or 4 old tvs).

These people. These fucking people.

The GOP can’t actually win an election in this country (outside the Confederate (i.e., treason) states) without voter suppression.

Every time the Eastern part of my State of WA cries out to secede I say “Go for it!”. Western WA has been paying the bills for decades and listening to Eastern WA whine about being stepped on.

Can I just come out now and support my theory that Thor would have been so much better if they’d just cast Kat Dennings as Jane Foster to begin with? She’s got way more personality than Natalie Portman, and at least twice the chemistry with Chris Hemsworth.

In the comic book, Butcher is very despicable (more towards the end of the run) so it is fitting that he is not much different in the TV show.

Fun fact, the album We Didn’t Start the Fire is on is Stormfront. That had to be an intentional selection given what happened on that trip.

It’s sort of the Trumpian idea that you don’t need to win over the majority of the public, you just need to rile up the base and win via electoral college and various shenanigans. You can also maybe look at it as a statement of the loss of a mono culture into more siloed cultures

1. He wasn’t easily stopped by Kimiko. It was actually the other way around. If it wasn’t for her regenerative abilities, she would’ve died. Add to that he was easily able to withstand Naqibs explosion while standing. He tore his head off with only his jaws.

As someone who appreciates the work of Mr Billiam Joel this season’s been very good to me, but I couldn’t help but question whether a version of We Didn’t Start The Fire written in a universe where superheroes have existed since the forties would be exactly the same as the one we know?

So it looks like they’re sticking to the comics version as far as Black Noir’s identity. This should be very interesting to see how Amazon pulls this off and watch.

Same difference.

It’s Trump, the RNC and ‘draining the swamp’

I had a weird little moment of my suspension of disbelief being broken during the We Didn’t Start the Fire singalong. Superheroes have been around since the ‘40s, and somehow that song is exactly the same?
