You know, I think Tony might well have left each member of the team a frozen vial of exactly what Pierce left to the study group.

BttF 2 is secretly and easily the best of the films if you watch them back-to-back-to-back. However, it definitely lost some luster when Biff Tannen 1985A got elected President in the real world.
“In any case, if this is in fact his page, I hope Capt. Baker is fired and has many bad days after this.”
Amen.
“and the alleged law breaker probably didn’t know or fathom that he was breaking laws either”
Come on, you surely know that isn’t an excuse?
They value it as a retort rather than as an actual concept.
I thought Beacon 23 was pretty good, but dammit, when are they going to get the adaptation of Wool (and its sequels) off the ground?
Sure, but the state government sure is.
“According to sources, upper management explained that executives simply weren’t aware of how dire the situation in Austin had gotten, and by the time they found out, the week was already over.”
It’s hard to imagine a better body of proof that said executives are colossal fucking idiots.
It’s a grittie
Creative like “revealing that one of the characters was missing some of those energy bolts on purpose in order to actually write runes on the giant walls” creative? Or creative like “both characters realize that flinging energy bolts isn’t doing much and instead resolve their fight by discussing the Ship of Theseus”…
Absolutely. The only joke that might take you a second is a couple of cameos from the original show, and rest assured, they make it completely clear and obvious when it happens.
That became clear the instant we saw White Vision last week. Have to give him respect for a troll that fucking effective! Masterful.
Then I’m compelled to remind you that the name of the song is “5000 Candles in the Wind.”
“editor’s note: more than 600,000 Americans died in the Civil War”
Disagree with the editor. The first figure was the accurate one.
Yeah, after this episode I think the casting is more of a stunt, but that he’s a genuine Pietro. Just not the MCU one or the Fox one. She yanked a Pietro from a universe right next door that was just a little bit different.
Yeah, I’m leaning toward him being a Pietro, but not necessarily the Fox X-Men Pietro (Peter). He could be from the proverbial “universe next door” where it’s almost like the MCU’s but slightly different, rather than the completely different Fox continuity.
I do wonder if maybe he put in a word with Disney, such as “get her the fuck out of here” or something along those lines.
Sadly, I am not. But I’ll also dig it out again at some point, because when we’re able to have parties again someday I had discovered that it was awesome to just set it up in a room with Mario Kart 8 and tell all the kids at the party “go in there.” They would, they’d have a ball, and the grownups would be left to…
My feeling was always that 3D World really did take the best elements of the 2D and 3D Marios and combine them perfectly.
Literally waiting for it since the day I bought the system, partially because I am one of the few who had the Wii U and wanted the rest of the world to actually get to experience this truly great game. Also because I can now finally put the Wii U into full storage for good.
